349 Days oh my!

I woke up this morning feeling unrested and very tired. *sigh* Got kids off to school and went back to bed, I was hoping I would be up by 1030 at the latest, but apparently I was very tired because I slept through till 1230. It was a good sleep and I felt well rested when I woke. Give your body the rest it needs I guess.

I’m still trying to figure out my supplements . I started taking L Glutamine today

Glutamine is an Amino Acid that is found within your muscles naturally. However, with high amounts of prolonged exercise it is shown to decrease and this more or less adds it back in. Make sense? That is the easiest most lay person definition I can give. (most lay person? lol nice grammar). The other one I am toying with and it will take me a while to figure out if I really want to take it or not is creatine. I spoke with a friend today who gave me her input, but still. I just can’t decide. I need to do more homework on it to decide if it’s really for me.

5.5 mile run on the treadmill


3 sets of Standing Over Head Presses- 12@12lbs

3 sets of Db Lateral raises-10@8lbs

3 sets of Upright rows (with a bb)- I love doing these! 12@15lbs

3 sets of Bent over Lat raises-  10 @ 8lbs (Need to work on my form with these, it’s easier to come out of form when your fatigued)

Protein Shake. Oh! I picked up some Almond Milk today (plain) to mix with my protein shake. This was fantastic! 1 scoop powder, 8ox almond milk and 1 banana. Throw it all in a blender with some ice cubes. Faboo!
