Mine sucks. How about yours? I’m going to keep track of my eating for a couple of weeks, so I can see where my calories are, or are not. This is not going to be fun, considering my eating really is bad. I have been trying to eat cleaner and better, but I still have lots of room for improvement.
I need a set menu that I can just rotate week to week, something that I don’t have to put a ton of thought into and something that I know has xx amount of calories in it. Any help or input would be greatly appreciated!
Soooo, I woke up and had half a bagel and a glass of OJ around 4am.
6am- 2 fat cookies (don’t ask..my mil makes them and they are my favorite cookie to have with coffee). These cookies are very dense and filling.
1pm-a pack of peanut butter crackers and more coffee
5pm-a clementine, and a half of a protein shake (this was after working out)
645- 1 chicken finger. Yes. 1.
8-a few packs of saltines from work, hershey kisses (6?) and some jelly bellies. Yep. You got it.
I do have a small turkey burger packed with a sweet potato (update– eaten). I also have a star fruit,another clementine and string cheese. Have eaten none of that yet.
Folks, this is typical. This is how I eat. I will usually eat a full dinner that is clean, a glass of wine and that is about it.
My intentions are always good the night before. I think, I will have oatmeal, or egg whites with veggies etc..etc.. a nice clean lunch and a clean dinner. NEVER EVER ends up that way. When I do try to eat sometimes I find that I cannot eat very much without feeling full. I really do need to pay close attention to my intake and really try to normalize myself. I should just work on making a 2 week rotation menu, so that I really don’t have to do any thinking. Just make and grab. Any ideas? I don’t even know what my calorie intake should be. I may want to lose about 5 more pounds and then just maintain.
