294 & 293..A Clean and a Snatch? What?

Kidding. I want to add these in and I need to be super sure that I  know the proper form to do these. I won’t tell you all the pictures that come up if I put the term in the search box though. Eww. From what I understand these are good for the biceps as well? Really? Explain, I just don’t see how.  I’m trying to figure out what is more effective split routines or complex or mixing both. I certainly don’t want to muscle out absolutely NOT. I do want to be able to see muscle though. I guess I am still trying to learn. Fine enough.

  1. Question for you. WHY do you want to start doing clean or a snatch? You won’t muscle out doing either of those exercises since they are power exercises.

When it comes to splitting up or combining your routines. Whatever your body responds too! Just make sure you mix it up every so often.

  2. btw if you want to eliminate exercises and shorten your workout do pull ups! It works multiple parts of the body including biceps. If you do chinups when doing your pull ups you can concentrate on biceps! Much less chance of injury

    • No pull up bar, and my doorways are not high enough.
I’m not looking to do what everyone else does or the latest fad. I’m just asking and learning is all. Besides I always do what I feel is best for me 🙂

  3. I would hope you do what you feel is best for you! Anyway just thought I’d throw out the pull ups since it does work so many muscles. It’s an exercise I really wish I could do. And I never would have guessed you were thinking of doing those exercises for biceps. Guess I’ve got lots to learn

    • I’m always learning. I prescribe to know one plan if you will. I just pick and pull from many!

I wish I had the doorway space for pull ups! As I was reading I saw that those moves can help biceps as well, even though they are geared towards multiple muscle groups. I could never do them without proper form training though and even then I would not do them alone.
