Rest day today. Worked a 12 last night. Tired, groggy and yuck. Went to G’s tournament game, windy and cold!

Home now, wine poured, grill blazing, brownies made! Time to throw the salmon on!

Dinner is Salmon, rice and some veggie! Hard to be on my eating coming off a shift. Tomorrow will be structured again!

Is it better to be a loner with one or two good friends, or popular with lots of friends, but no true friends? Make sense? I’m 40 and still don’t know the answer to that question!

295 Days and I’ll Take Spring Now.

Boy, this nice weather has been just to die for. However, I am hearing that we will get cold again and *GASP* someone on a page I belong to mentioned a  possible..POSSIBLE snow event next week. I wanted snow all winter long, however, at this juncture I am so over it.

Done work now until Wednesday night, and then next week I start my 2 days a week schedule! Yay!  More time to live life, run and enjoy my family! Anyway, no scheduled workouts today, so I will just veg and relax. Feeling quite tired and groggy, did not sleep well. I know I know, I say it all the it old yet? Well, it’s the TRUTH dammit. I’m tired and I did not sleep well. HA!

I went grocery shopping today,and I was the pain in the butt in the line that broke my cart into 3 checkouts so that I can use my coupons. I’m sure the checkout girl hated me, but is that not what she gets paid for? Seriously. I saved about $50 when it was all said and done. Picked up lots of greens, I’m trying Green Chard, does it taste the same? Probably, or maybe a little less bitter perhaps? Picked up some baby kale and baby spinach. Aww..the wittle babies. I cannot wait for summer so that I can have a lot more variety at a cheaper cost. I’m especially excited for the tomatoes!

Okay, so I want to clarify what I posted yesterday..I do NOT THINK ALL CROSSFIT WOMEN are bulky. I said SOME. SOME. SOME. 🙂

Bulky? Yes!

Bulky? NO!

Bulky? YES!

Bulky? NO!

And because this is SOOO ME and I LOVE IT!!


319 Days. Valentines Day.

Another shitty night of sleep last night/this morning. Woke up at 3 I’m guessing, it was 3:55 when I finally looked at the clock. Was having weird dreams about Shrek chasing me. Yes. I said Shrek. WTH is going on?!! I got up around 4:15 had a half a dry bagel and some OJ. I was wishing and hoping I would fall back asleep, and I did and It probably was about an hour before my alarm went off. So, yet again, I got the kids up and ready and went back to lay down until 1. NOPE, did not get any solid stretch of sleep, more like on and off, with some tossing and turning thrown in for good measure. I even took Benadryl, prior, I. just.don’

Seriously, it wears you down mentally and physically. How much longer can I do this? Meh. I don’t know if I’m better forcing myself to stay up once I’m up on my days off? Or what to do anymore.
